About the International e-Assessment Awards

Organised by the e-Assessment Association, a not-for-profit membership association, the International e-Assessment Awards were launched in 2016 to celebrate the positive contributions that technology makes to all forms of assessment, showcasing the very best practice, research and innovation taking place, from organisations, institutions and individuals working in this exciting field. Each of the nine separate Award categories has a separate set of criteria to help you select the most appropriate category. Please therefore take the time to read the scope and criteria for each category carefully before submitting your entry or nomination.

The 2022 International e-Assessment Award categories are as follows. Click on any of the category titles to find out more:

The Best Practitioner of the Year Award and the Lifetime Contribution Award are both open for anyone to submit a nomination, and every nomination will be reviewed by the elected Board of the e-Assessment Association.

The remaining seven project-based categories, are each judged by an independent panel of experts who firstly review all of the submitted entries and meet to discuss and then unanimously agree a shortlist of the four best projects. The panel will then invite the four finalists to an online interview to hear more about the project and ask any questions they may have, before retiring to discuss and unanimously agree the winners.

Any questions about the judging process or the Awards, please head to our Frequently Asked Questions page at Awards FAQs – The e-Assessment Association
