Travel disruption on Tuesday 21st June

Last Updated: Tuesday 21st June

We are aware that there is a proposed rail strike planned for Tuesday 21st June which will affect mainline trains. London Underground, London Overground, The Elizabeth Line and Tram services are disrupted.

In addition to the strike on 21st June, there may also be delays on 22nd June due to the knock on effect of the strike so please allow extra time for your journey. On Wednesday 22 June no Tube services will run before 8am with disruption likely to continue to mid morning.

We have collated below useful information for you, including links to websites to help you plan your journey and will be updating this webpage as information about the planned strikes changes.

Travelling in London

Buses, the DLR and taxis will be running as usual. However, the London Overground is only running from 7.30am to 6.30pm.

Visit the Transport for London website for the most recent updates.

You can find maps and timetables and on the Transport for London website – see the link below.

Two London Transport options with stops near to the venue are:

  • The Thames Clipper (also known as Uber Boat or Riverbus) stops at 24 piers along the Thames between Barking in the East and Putney in the West. The Tower Hotel is a short walk from Tower Pier.
  •  The DLR serves the Docklands, Beckton, Stratford and London City Airport in east and north-east London, as well as Greenwich and Lewisham in south London. Tower Gateway is the nearest DLR station to the Tower Hotel.
