The 2025 Lifetime Contribution Award was presented posthumously to John O’Sullivan, founder first of X:OR in the early days of e-learning, and later e-Assessment company Coelrind.
A driving force behind innovative digital solutions that transformed how awarding organisations operate, John brought entrepreneurial energy to a wide range of impactful education projects from leading awarding bodies to international education partnerships, and collaborative procurement initiatives.
A familiar and valued voice within the eAA community, he was known for his insight, humour, and unwavering commitment. He engaged thoughtfully with colleagues across the sector and played a central role in shaping the future of digital assessment.
