Finalists:
Media Studies is an AS & A Level qualification that is currently taken on paper. We have transitioned those items to a digital format with a focus on better reflecting how students access and engage with digital media and the value and improvements this new digital assessment would provide.
This project makes the process of reviewing and managing applications and assessments much smoother and fairer for everyone involved. Candidates upload documents online. Assessors and admins can review, verify, and record decisions in the same system. If someone disagrees, they can appeal, and that process is also handled clearly in the same place. Competencies can be mapped and measured throughout the assessment process across assessment types and stations within an assessment. With detailed feedback available to candidates at the full control of the administrative team. If someone disagrees with a decision, there’s a clear process to submit and review appeals, ensuring that every case is handled consistently and transparently. Everything is recorded and stored safely, so decisions can be traced and audited if needed. In short, we’ve transformed a complicated, paper-based, and time-consuming process into a streamlined, transparent, and reliable system that makes life easier for candidates, assessors, and administrators alike.
