The winners of the 2026 International e-Assessment Awards have been announced by the e-Assessment Association at the Awards Gala Dinner in London.

The International e-Assessment Awards recognise innovation, excellence and impact across the global assessment community. This year's winners and finalists demonstrated how digital assessment continues to evolve at scale, with projects spanning education, professional certification and workplace assessment. Common themes across the entries included the successful delivery of large-scale digital assessment programmes, the responsible use of AI supported by human oversight, accessibility by design, and the creation of more authentic assessment experiences that better reflect real-world skills and workplace environments. The new and expanded categories for 2026 showcase how digital assessment is being applied in increasingly specialised and impactful ways.

Graham Hudson, Chair of the e-Assessment Association, commented:

“The International e-Assessment Awards showcase the very best of innovation and best practice from across our global community. This year's finalists and winners demonstrated not only technical excellence, but a clear commitment to trust, accessibility and meaningful outcomes for learners and candidates. From large-scale assessment programmes to the responsible application of AI, the projects recognised by our judges highlight how digital assessment is continuing to mature, delivering solutions that are scalable, inclusive and fit for the future.”

We extend our sincere thanks to the independent panel of judges for the time, expertise and commitment they bring to the awards each year, and to our Awards Headline Sponsor, British Council, for its continued support of the International e-Assessment Awards and the wider digital assessment community.
