Innovative exam delivery, development, and technology for UK assessment programmes- a guide from PSI
Join us for the Inaugural Stobart Lecture, launching a new annual event that celebrates individuals whose work has made a lasting impact on educational assessment — shaping practice, policy, and theory across the sector.
This year’s lecture will be delivered by Professor Gordon Stobart, Emeritus Professor of Education at the Institute of Education, University College London, and Honorary Research Fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Educational Assessment (OUCEA). With a distinguished career spanning teaching, psychology, policy research, and academia, Gordon brings a wealth of experience and insight to the discussion.
In his lecture, Gordon will explore his current research focus: the adaptations necessary for assessment to thrive in the age of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) — addressing both the opportunities and challenges AI presents for the future of learning and evaluation.
A response will be provided by Professor Jo-Anne Baird of the University of Oxford.
